Why 22 momme
Momme measures silk by weight. Many silk pillowcases are 16 to 19 momme. Ours is 22, about 16% more silk per square metre than 19 and 37% more than 16, so it feels denser, with a deeper sheen.

Wash cold on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, or by hand, with a pH-neutral detergent. Dry flat, away from direct sun. Iron on low, inside out.
